Spanish and Art Teacher
Micah Bullock
Mr. Micah is a gifted musician, linguist, and educator with a passion for helping students grow in both knowledge and confidence. He graduated from Transylvania University in May 2026 with dual degrees in Vocal Music Performance and Spanish Language & Literature.
Throughout his academic career, Mr. Micah has gained a wide range of teaching experience. He served as an ACE Lab tutor during high school and later became a peer tutor at Transylvania University, helping fellow students succeed academically. His training in music pedagogy provided valuable classroom observation and practicum experience at Rosenwald-Dunbar Elementary School, where he developed effective instructional strategies for elementary music education. He also teaches private music lessons, encouraging students to develop their musical abilities while fostering a lifelong appreciation for the arts.
In addition to his educational background, Mr. Micah has served as a missionary both within the United States and overseas in Spanish-speaking countries. These experiences have strengthened his Spanish fluency, broadened his understanding of different cultures, and deepened his desire to serve others through education and ministry.
At RadArtz Academy, Mr. Micah combines his love for music, language, and discipleship to create engaging, hands-on learning experiences. He is passionate about helping students discover their God-given talents while developing the skills and confidence to use those gifts to serve others.
Fun Fact: Mr. Micah is an identical twin!
History Teacher
Kandace Davies
Mrs. Kandace is passionate about bringing learning to life through storytelling, hands-on experiences, and meaningful relationships. She believes children learn best when they are actively engaged, encouraged to ask questions, and given opportunities to connect what they learn to the world around them.
Mrs. Kandace holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Political Science and Communication Studies from Western Kentucky University. As the mother of three children, she has spent many years intentionally guiding their education through a variety of learning environments. Her family was actively involved in a local private Christian school, experienced homeschooling, virtual schooling, and public schooling. These diverse experiences have given her a well-rounded perspective on education and a deep appreciation for meeting each child where they are.
Throughout her homeschooling journey, Mrs. Kandace has used a wide variety of curricula and partnered with several homeschool co-ops, collaborating with other families to provide enriching educational opportunities. She has taught classes in theatre, music, physical education, and other enrichment subjects, always striving to create lessons that are interactive, memorable, and full of joy.
Mrs. Kandace values curiosity, creativity, and lifelong learning. She is committed to helping students develop confidence, think critically, and discover the unique gifts God has given them. Her warmth, versatility, and wealth of educational experience make her a valued member of the RadArtz Academy team.
Fun Fact: In elementary school, Mrs. Kandace rode an ostrich!
Life Skills Teacher
Sara Driskell
Mrs. Sara is a lifelong Jessamine County resident with a heart for children, families, and Christ-centered education. She earned her degree in Elementary Education from Asbury University and began her career teaching kindergarten at Jessamine Early Learning Village, where she spent three years helping young learners build a strong academic and social foundation.
Mrs. Sara is married and the proud mother of four children. After her years in the classroom, she chose to stay home to invest in raising her family, bringing the same care, patience, and encouragement to her own children that she gave to her students. Her experiences as both an educator and a mother have deepened her understanding of how children learn and thrive.
In addition to her work with children at RadArtz Academy, Mrs. Sara faithfully serves at her church as a first-grade Sunday School teacher. She is passionate about helping children grow in both knowledge and faith while creating a classroom environment where every child feels valued, encouraged, and loved.
Mrs. Sara's gentle spirit, strong educational background, and genuine love for children make her a treasured member of the RadArtz Academy team.
Fun Fact: Mrs. Sara grew up riding horses and she loves to read!
General Music, Musical Theatre & Writing Teacher
Valerie Hildabrand
Mrs. Valerie Hildabrand serves as the Music and Writing Instructor at RadArtz Academy, where she inspires students to grow in creativity, confidence, and self-expression. In 2025, she founded the Voices of Light Choir, providing students with opportunities to develop their musical gifts while using their voices to glorify God.
Ms. Valerie and her husband, Ben, are the proud parents of two wonderful children. Outside the classroom, she teaches private piano lessons from her home and enjoys encouraging young musicians of all ages.
A longtime Jessamine County resident, Ms. Valerie has more than a decade of teaching experience. She spent 12 years serving students in Danville Independent Schools, where she taught middle school choir from 2012 to 2018 and elementary music and choir from 2012 to 2025. Earlier in her career, she also served as an adjunct music instructor at Transylvania University.
With a passion for music, writing, and Christ-centered education, Ms. Valerie is committed to helping students discover and develop the unique gifts God has given them.
Mrs. Valerie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from the University of Kentucky, as well as studies in Learning Behavior Disorders from Western Kentucky University.
Fun Fact: Mrs. Valerie plays trombone in an 80's style rock band!
STEM and Stagecraft Teacher
Tori Johnson
Ms. Tori is a passionate educator who brings a wealth of experience to RadArtz Academy. She has taught preschool for more than four years, served as a Sunday School teacher, and has homeschooled her children for the past eight years. As a wife and mother of six, she understands the joys and challenges of raising and educating children.
Ms. Tori is an accomplished writer, actress, independent film director, and the owner of Mosaic, a film studio dedicated to creative storytelling. Her love for the arts shines through in everything she does, inspiring students to express themselves with confidence and purpose.
Whether supporting classrooms, leading creative programs, mentoring students, or helping behind the scenes, Ms. Tori has played an important role in helping RadArtz grow into the thriving community it is today.
In addition to her work at RadArtz Academy, Ms. Tori serves as the Director of the Revive Next Gen After School Program, which operates in the same facility. This summer, she successfully launched and led her first STEM Camp, combining creativity, engineering, and hands-on discovery to engage young learners.
Fun Fact: Mrs. Tori is involved in the Independent Film community in Louisville and Ohio.
Head Teacher
Casondra Radford
Ms. Casondra has been passionate about teaching since high school, where she began as a Sunday school teacher and peer tutor. Her journey has taken her across the globe teaching English in China, Ethiopia, and at Oneida Baptist Institute, as well as adult education programs. She has taught Theatre at Trinity Christian Academy and History, English, Theatre, and Religion at Wilmore Crossing Academy.
Since 2008, Ms. Casondra specialized in tutoring neurodivergent students, bringing creativity, patience, and cultural awareness into every session. In 2020, she founded RadArtz, a faith-based learning community that blends academics with the arts and celebrates diverse learners.
She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre with a Minor in Spanish, a Master's Degree in Intercultural Studies, and a Certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language.
Fun Fact: She has traveled to 17 countries of Africa, Asia, Australia, Central America, and Europe.
Science Teacher
Rachel Taylor
Mrs. Rachel is a first-responder's wife, a mother of two children, and an avid dog lover. She enjoys days on the river, science experiments, and cozy afternoons. Rachel holds degrees in Early Childhood Education and Family Studies, and has an Applied Science degree. Rachel serves as a Vacation Bible School teacher at Bethel Christian Church and tutors homeschool students, while also homeschooling her own children in ninth and fourth grade.
Fun Fact: Mrs. Rachel owns her own quilting business!
Bible Teacher
Chansley Turner
Mrs. Chansley has a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Kentucky. She has been leading a Bible Study called Kingdom Kids for almost two years. Additionally, Mrs. Chansley homeschools her second grader and preschooler.
Fun Fact: As a child, Mrs. Chansley had a pet monkey named Ricky!
Cultures Class and Stagecraft
Nikki Bahr
Ms. Nikki was born and raised in southern Ohio. After spending ten years in Minnesota, she moved to Kentucky with her family last summer. She earned an Associate of Arts in Intercultural Ministry from Bethany Global University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies from the University of Northwestern–St. Paul.
Ms. Nikki and her husband, Anthony, met while attending Bethany Global University. They have two wonderful daughters, Maggie and Eden.
At RadArtz Academy, Ms. Nikki is passionate about creating a warm, organized, and Christ-centered environment where students can learn, grow, and thrive. She enjoys supporting teachers, students, and families so that meaningful education and discipleship can take place each day. Her heart is to help make RadArtz a place where every child feels welcomed, encouraged, and equipped to discover the gifts God has given them.
Outside of RadArtz, Ms. Nikki enjoys reading, exploring local thrift stores, and playing board games with family and friends.

Chaplain & Volunteer ELA Teacher
Pastor Brian and Rebecca Willison
Pastor Brian Willison is the Associate Pastor of Students and Families at Edgewood Baptist Church. He is a pastor, a husband to Ms. Rebecca, and a father to three beautiful children: Samuel, Oliver, and Caroline. He obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Religious Education in May of 2002. He began his journey with Edgewood Baptist Church in February of 2024 and he is from Waterdown, Ontario.
Mrs. Rebecca has been homeschooling her three children, ages 10, 6, and 4, for over three years. She loves cooking, traveling, gardening, and reading, but is excited to be back in the classroom to continue to pass on her love for literature!
Mrs. Rebecca holds a Bachelor's Degree with a major in English and a minor in Sociology. Then, after a brief year in journalism school, she finished her Bachelor's of Education at D'Youville College, NY. She has over 18 years of teaching experience working with grades 6-12 in a wide range of teaching environments. During that time, her teaching focus was primarily English Literature and Religion, while being involved in several extracurricular activities, such as field hockey, photography, and theatre. Mrs. Rebecca currently teaches Sunday School and in the Awana program at Edgewood Baptist Church.
Fun Fact: Mrs. Rebecca worked as a wedding and family photographer for over 12 years!
